Questions we get asked about gutter work.
What are seamless gutters?
Seamless gutters are formed from a single continuous length of metal, rather than joined from fixed sections. Because there are far fewer joints, there are fewer places for the gutter to leak — and the finish is neater along the roofline.
How are seamless gutters different from sectional gutters?
Sectional gutters come in fixed lengths that must be joined together with connectors. Seamless gutters are produced to the exact measurement of each run, so a full length of roof usually needs only corner pieces and end caps. The result is a cleaner look and a system less likely to leak at joins.
Can you form the gutters at my property?
Yes. Our mobile gutter-forming machine allows us to profile the gutters on site to the required lengths. This is what makes the seamless finish possible — the gutters arrive as flat coil and are formed to measure where the work is happening.
Do you work outside Harare?
Yes. We are based in Harare and have completed projects in Norton, Ruwa and Mutare, with work elsewhere in Zimbabwe arranged on request. Transport for out-of-town projects is quoted separately depending on distance.
Do you install gutters on new builds and renovations?
Yes. We work on new builds, renovations, extensions and existing properties. If the roof is still going up we can plan the gutter runs early; if the building is already finished we measure the existing roofline and work from there.
Do you repair existing gutters, or only install new ones?
Both. We repair leaks, refix sagging gutters, clear blockages and replace damaged sections. If the system is beyond repair we will say so plainly, and quote for a replacement — but we do not push a replacement when a repair will do.
What material are the gutters made from?
The most common material we install is aluminium, because it is light, corrosion-resistant and available in a range of colours. Depending on the property and the budget we can also discuss other metal profiles. Tell us about the building and we will recommend what fits.
How do I get a quote?
Use the contact form or WhatsApp us on 0783 142 540 with your location, the type of property, and — if possible — a photo of the roofline. We will then arrange a site visit to measure and confirm the price in writing.
Is the quotation free?
Yes. Site assessments and written quotations are free within our normal service area. For sites far outside Harare a small travel charge may apply, and it will be confirmed with you before we visit.
How long does a gutter installation take?
Most residential properties are completed in a day, and small jobs in a few hours. Larger commercial and industrial roofs, or properties with many runs and downpipes, may take longer. We will give you a realistic timeframe with the quotation.
